Fatima is a sophomore from Alexandria, VA. She is an English major and a Psychology and Sociology double-minor. Aside from her staff writer position on the YJ Newspaper, Fatima is a Resident Assistant and involved with Leadership Fellows. She pioneered the launch of the R-MC Rugby Football Club for men and women. Fatima’s experience with being involved with newspaper clubs since middle school made her excited that the YJ would be re-launched. In her free time, she enjoys reading novels from the 1950s and 1960s, watching women’s professional soccer, and playing with her pet turtle named Sandwich.
