Since we left for summer break in May, quite a few things have happened in just three months.
The Panthers won the Stanley Cup, the Celtics took home the NBA Finals, the Olympics were
held, and, most shockingly, the current Republican nominee and former President of the United
States narrowly survived an assassination attempt.
The boldness of trying to assassinate a former president, especially someone like Donald Trump, reveals
a lot about the motivations behind it. Such an act requires a strong intent, significant resources,
and careful planning, suggesting that it might involve more than one person. Reports of security
failures at multiple levels raise essential questions—were these mistakes simply due to
incompetence, or could there be something more sinister, like deliberate sabotage?
First, let us look at one community that has despised Trump over the last eight years: the deep
state. The deep state refers to a covert network within government agencies, the military, or
intelligence communities that manipulate policy or events to serve its interests. During his
presidency, Trump positioned himself as an outsider fighting against this entrenched
establishment. While the official narrative ignores the deep state of the recent assassination
attempt, the circumstances surrounding the incident give rise to many questions. How could such
an attempt occur without some form of internal failure or betrayal?
Posts on social media suggest that security was unusually lax or misled, with rumors of
heightened threats leading up to the event. If these threats were known, why were they not
neutralized? This situation points to either severe incompetence or potential complicity. Moreover, the shooter, as described in various reports, does not fit the typical profile of someone capable of executing such a high-profile attack without assistance or guidance.
How was someone with a firearm—neither Secret Service nor local police—allowed on a
rooftop 130-160 yards from the soon-to-be Republican nominee for President of the United
States? According to the official narrative, this lone shooter, who could not even make his high
school shooting team, was somehow skilled enough to bypass the Secret Service, local police,
and other security measures to take five to six shots at the former President. Additionally, why
did the Secret Service not act after being informed by local police about the threat posed by this
shooter?
Chris Martenson’s analysis of the shooting raises questions about whether the alleged shooter
acted alone, given the way the shots were fired. The pacing of the shots suggests the possibility
of two shooters rather than just one. Additionally, video evidence shows a person standing on top
of a water tower, potentially holding a gun, who disappears after a few minutes.
The incident’s aftermath and the controlled narrative—marked by a lack of immediate clarity
and how media platforms reported the story—indicate a coordinated effort to steer public
opinion away from deeper inquiries into potential state involvement.
Let’s look at what the deep state has done for the past decade. Particularly in the last four years,
the Deep State has allegedly been attempting to end Trump’s career. The 2020 election was one
of the most controversial in history, with claims of voter fraud, manipulation of election systems,
sudden shifts in vote counts, the halting of vote counting in critical states, and the subsequent
legal challenges met with resistance or dismissal. These factors raise ongoing questions about the
legitimacy of the election.
Following the election, Trump encountered unprecedented legal challenges, utilizing the legal
system and institutions to undermine or delegitimize a political opponent. These challenges
included investigations into his business dealings, tax returns, and even his role in the events of
January 6th. The argument is that these were not merely legal inquiries but coordinated efforts
intended to drain Trump financially, damage his reputation, and ultimately render him politically
powerless.
By targeting his businesses with legal challenges, pressuring banks to sever ties, and creating an
environment where investors would retreat, the objective was to cripple Trump financially. As
described in various accounts, this financial warfare was not just about money but about
power—specifically, the power to strip Trump of the resources needed to defend himself legally
or politically.
The deep state prevented Trump from winning in 2020, inundated him with legal cases,
attempted to bankrupt him, and even raided his residence through the FBI. With these efforts
appearing to fail to eliminate him, an assassination became the next logical step. The timing of
the assassination attempt made sense—it occurred just weeks after the Donald Trump v. Joe Biden debate in late June, where the public witnessed Joe Biden struggling to speak coherently. The attempt occurred only days before the Republican National Convention, where Trump was set to accept the nomination and, more importantly, announce his running mate. Selecting the right vice president would serve as life insurance for Trump. If his running mate shared his policies and determination to dismantle the deep state, it would deter any further attempts on his life.
Trump made a strategic choice by selecting JD Vance, a populist committed to ending the deep state. Thus, he secured a like-minded ally who would continue his mission if anything happened to him. The assassination attempt was a significant event in US history and would have caused chaos.
Unfortunately for the deep state, Trump survived by mere centimeters and made a strategic
choice for his vice president that forced them to reconsider their plans. Desperate, they made a
fateful decision about who would run as the Democratic candidate, leading to what some might
call a coup of the presidency of the United States. But that is a story for another day.
